Have You Seen An Elderly Jack Russell Terrier?

 1

The Laurelhurst Blog received this information:

On Sunday, May 14 at 5am, our old Jack Russell terrier, Libby, wandered away near 49th Avenue NE and NE 39th Street.
Libby is mainly white with brown/grey ears and a black spot. She is wearing booties on her back feet.
She is deaf, so she will not come hearing her name but very friendly to people and will enjoy eating any snacks.

Here is the Craigslist post:

LOST Jack Russell old dog with dementia

Our 19 year old Jack Russell Libby pulled a Houdini and squirmed out of her collar this morning while she was on the back porch and she escaped. She is very old, completely deaf, and she suffers from CCD (Canine Cognitive Disorder - like doggie Alzheimer's). She is almost all white now (brown spots faded due to age) but has black on her tail. No collar but booties on her back feet. We have been looking for her non-stop and we are worried she is stuck somewhere or has been hurt. She likes people and love treats. If you can grab her, great. She is very thin and frail and weighs nothing. She will not resist you.

Please contact 206-877-2093 if you have information or see the dog.

Have You Seen A CD Binder With CDs?

The Laurelhurst Blog received this information:
We'd appreciate the Laurelhurst Blog's help in locating an item that we lost on Saturday morning, 9/24, when we left it on the back of our car and then drove off.
It is a black CD binder (12 inches high by 4 inches wide and perhaps an inch or so thick) with many sentimental CDs.
It was probably lost on 48th Avenue NE between NE 40th and NE 45th Streets or somewhere along NE 45th Street.
We are offering a reward.
Please contact laurelhurstblogger@gmail.com if you have information.

Lost Bulova Watch

The Laurelhurst Blog received this information:

I lost my silver wrist watch, Bulova brand, that was given to me by my daughter and son-in-law about 10 years ago, while on a walk around the neighborhood on Saturday, July 16.
I took an hour walk in Laurelhurst up and down and around a number of hilly streets.  It is not especially expensive but has great sentimental value.  I was probably on 9 or 10 different streets minimally. Someone who does not live on the streets I'd walked on could still have picked it up.

Please email laurelhurstblogger@gmail.com if you have information.

Boomerang Lands In Tall Tree At Park

The Laurelhurst Blog received this email:
A few weeks ago we lost our orange, blue and white boomerang in a tree in Laurelhurst Park, in the large trees lining the east side between the two stair entrances on 48th Avenue NE.
My 6-year-old son asked that I email the neighborhood to make sure everyone keeps an eye out for it if it falls on a windy day.  It is stuck up pretty high.
If anyone happens to find it, we'd love to have it back as it was a birthday gift.  It's orange, blue & white.
Please contact laurelhurstblogger@gmail.com if you have any information.

Two Black Cats Found And Taken To Animal Shelter

The Laurelhurst Blog Staff received this email:

Two healthy appearing juvenile male all black cats showed up at our house near NE Surber Drive and 42nd Avenue NE on November 12th. They had no collars, but look too healthy to be strays.
We have since taken them to the Seattle Animal Shelter in Interbay and were told they will be available for adoption soon. The Animal Shelter said that they were probably dumped in the neighborhood.
My daughter posted on the NE Seattle Moms Yahoo group and got no response.
