QFC Expansion Design Review Meeting Tonight
Tonight at 6:30pm neighbors are invited to attend the UVillage QFC expansion Design Review Meeting at the University Heights Center (5031 University Way, Room 209).
The Land Use application is for a 21,773 square foot first floor expansion of an existing grocery store (QFC, a 21,773 square foot second floor expansion of an existing mini warehouse and 5,715 sq. ft. converted from existing building (former liquor store). The project also includes a two-story parking garage for 540 vehicles. Environmental Impact Statement prepared under DPD Project #3008972.
At tonight's Design Review Board meeting the applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it corresponds to the Design Guideline priorities established at the Early Design Guidance Board meeting on December 15, 2008 and Recommendation meeting on March 5, 2012, regarding this site.
The public can give comments regarding the proposed design. The Design Review Board members will give the Director of the Department of Planning and Development their recommendations regarding the design.
