Family Friendly Bird Walk Saturday At Magnuson


The Seattle Audubon Society is having a bird walk Saturday for families.

Family Friendly Bird Walk

Come hone your observation skills by learning how to identify the field marks and calls and songs of local Seattle Birds.

After a brief examination of real scientific bird skin specimens, we will use our fox feet, deer ears, and eagle eyes to explore the wetlands of Magnuson Park.

This bird walk is appropriate for families with children ages 2 and up.

The walk will begin at parking lot E5. (Enter Magnuson Park at the 65th street entrance and park in the first lot to the left.)

  • Date/time: Saturday, August 6th, 9-10am
  • Location:Magnuson Park - 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115. Parking Lot E5.
  • Limit: 12 children, plus their adult caregivers
  • Cost: $2 per child
