The Northeast branch of the Seattle Public Library (6801 35th Avenue NE) is having a free preview lecture tonight at 6:30pm of Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Handel's "Semele."

The information says:
The composer of the Messiah takes you on a witty and sensuous journey to paradise in this playful Seattle Opera premiere. An ambitious girl-next-door is transported to the realm of the “beautiful people” in an elegant, all-new production.
