Seattle Opera Preview Of "Don Giovanni" Tonight At Northeast Branch Library

Seattle Opera Preview Lecture

The Northeast branch of the Seattle Public Library (6801 35th Avenue NE) is having a free preview lecture for Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.”

The information says:
Join us for an engaging preview lecture on Mozart’s multifaceted portrait of an unrepentant Casanova, that has fascinated audiences since its 1787 premiere. To this day it endures as opera’s ultimate cautionary tale about the human cost of unbridled lust.
Featuring varied, evocative, and absolutely glorious music from overture to epilogue, a dynamic set of distinctively drawn characters, and a shocking, unforgettable finale, “the Don” stands apart as Mozart’s boldest masterpiece
