Northeast Poetry Contest Awards Ceremony Tomorrow

Northeast Poetry Contest: Awards Ceremony and Reading

The Northeast branch (6801 35th Ave. NE), of the Seattle Public Library has concluded its annual poetry contest in honor of April's National Poetry Month and the awards ceremony will be held at 6pm tomorrow night.

The information says:
Everyone is invited to see the Northeast Branch's poetry contest winners receive prizes and read their poems; one grand prize winner will get the coveted Wedgie Award trophy.
As time allows, there will also be an open mic where everyone present can read their own original poem. The poem can be the one they entered in our contest, or another original piece.
All submitted poems will be bound into booklets. After the winners are announced at the ceremony, these chapbooks will be available for viewing at the Northeast Branch.
