NEST Holding Free Financial Seminar Today At Community Center


Today at 2:30pm at the Laurelhurst Community Club, NEST (Northeast Seattle Together) is having a free seminar for women on financial management and learning about strategies.


The information says:
This financial presentation is specifically for women, however men are also invited, who may be taking on the household financial management for the first time.  It is designed to decrease stress around planning and big decisions.
Due to those worries, presenters, Laurie Adams and Kevin Peterson, Financial Advisers with Eagle Strategies LLC, will discuss the best ways for to avoid ‘financial paralysis’.  
North East Seattle Together (NEST) presents this seminar to bring together individuals, families, seniors, students, business owners and community organizations to ensure that as we grow older, we can continue to live safely and confidently in our own homes, in the neighborhoods we love.


NEST is a non-profit grassroots operation serving NE Seattle seniors by creating a "virtual village" to helping them be able to stay in their own homes and neighborhoods they love. Volunteers provide companionship, care, as well as help seniors with a wide range of services, including gardening, computer help and more. to seniors aging in their homes. Ongoing classes (fitness, etc) are also offered, as well as access to events, transportation services, and various services (such as estate planners) whoprovide their services at a discount to members.
