The Northeast Branch Library (6801 35th Avenue NE) is holding a free SNAP (Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare workshop called "Turn your Smartphone into a Disaster Tool" from 6:30-7:30pm tomorrow.

What are the best apps in case of an emergency? With just a few clicks, we’ll share the latest ways to notify loved ones, track power outages, get transit alerts, light your way and more.
During this hands-on, 30-minute workshop, bring your device and find out what the best mobile apps are in case of an emergency.  With just a few clicks, we’ll share the latest ways to notify loved ones, track power outages, get transit alerts, light your way and more.   Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare (SNAP) Shot workshops, from the Seattle Office of Emergency Management, are short, skills-based workshops in partnership with the Library. 
Each 30-minute workshop will focus on one aspect of emergency preparedness.  This workshop is presented in partnership with the Seattle Office of Emergency Management.
