Laurelhurst Community Club Collecting Annual Dues Due Now


The Laurelhurst Community Club is currently collecting annual dues now which go towards supporting a variety of neighborhood projects and issues, the most current one being the proposed re-development.

LCC recently said in an email to neighbors:
We are actively participating in developments for the Talaris site and has engaged our attorney, land-use consultant, and architect to prepare a responses to the owner’s possible development plans.  
Your financial support for this effort is needed and much appreciated and we appreciate your continued generosity and support.

Other areas LCC interests are:
  • University Village expansion
  • Land use and zoning issues
  • Traffic management
  • Transportation issues
  • Seattle Children's Hospital expansion
  • Parks and Community centers
  • Sidewalk and street repairs
  • Various issues brought before local government
  • Crime and police activity
  • Private neighborhood security
  • Waterway No. 1
  • Schools
  • Libraries

LCC also published a monthly hard-copy newsletter and meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m.  The next board meeting is January 13 and is held at the Laurelhurst Community Center Fireside room.
