The Center for Urban Horticulture would like to invite the neighborhood to their upcoming series of Parent/Child classes to be held every Friday, between September 20 and December 18 (excluding November 29) from 10am-12pm and meet in the Soest Garden.
Families can sign up for one class, or the whole series or any amount in between. A class is $18 for 1 adult and 1 child (age 2-5), with an additional child costing $9. A discount is given for signing up for 6 or more classes.

Preschoolers and their caregivers will discover the Union Bay Natural Area, hike, play games and maybe do an art project, but mostly explore and let the natural curiosity of the little ones direct the activities.
Every week's class will be based around a different learning theme, including Bugs and Slugs, Camouflage, Owls, Bats, Mushrooms, Animal Tracks, Squirrels, and Evergreen Trees.
