Wondering About All The Dead Fish In The Lake ?

What's going on with all the hundreds and hundreds of little dead fish at all the beaches?

Lifeguards at Laurelhurst Beach Club are filling entire garbage cans with the fish and kids are also collecting them in buckets while playing in the water.

The  3-inch fish called the Lake Washington Stickleback,  identified by the three dorsal spikes on its back, die this time of year, after spawning.

Larry Altose, public information officer for the Department of Ecology, adds that some people are concerned that pollution is killing them, but it's not the case. " It's just nature doing its thing."
