Annual Garden Lovers Book Sale At Center For Urban Horticulture Starts Tonight

Miller Library's 8th Annual Garden Lovers' Book Sale is this Saturday from 9-3pm at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) in Laurelhurst. There is no charge for admittance.

Shoppers will find a wide range of used gardening, horticulture, botany and landscape design books at discounted prices.   All proceeds from the sale are used to purchase the newest horticultural books and journals.
 
"Special this year will be hundres and hundreds of amazing gardening and cook books from the estate of Betsy Fitzgerald" the invitation says.
 
On Friday there will be a special Wine and Cheese Preview Party from 5-8pm where browsers will be the first to take a look at what is on sale as well as enjoy a glass of wine, mingle with other gardening enthusiasts, and an also have an opportunity to bid on specially selected books in the silent auction.

Tickets to the Preview Party are $20 each, and proceeds go towards funding the book budget of the Miller Library. Call the Library at 206-543-0415 to purchase tickets.
