Roosevelt High School To Play With Seattle Symphony And UW Musicians Tomorrow Evening




A reader would like to let the community know that tomorrow night at 7pm, the Roosevelt High School Symphony Orchestra will be playing with musicians from the Seattle Symphony and the University of Washington in the Roosevelt High School Theater.

The concert will feature:
Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, Op.45
World Premier of Sarah Louise Bassingthwaighte's
A Mountain Symphony

One of the musicians, a Roosevelt High School senior, Bronwyn Early lives in Laurelhurst and is concertmaster of the Roosevelt Symphony Orchestra violin. She also  plays in the Seattle Youth Symphony, swims on the Roosevelt Swim team and is a lifeguard at the Laurelhurst beach club during the summer.
 
 Tomorow's night's event is free and will be directed by Anna Edwards.
