May Laurelhurst Real Estate Summary

Thanks to Kim Dales for providing us with this neighborhood real estate activity monthly report:






May was an interesting month as it was almost a mirror image of last May. Similar New Listings, Pendings and Solds.
Also the average price point of sold homes in May 2011 was $745,250 compared to this May at $754,333 a very slight increase.

Our market in Laurelhurst and the entire Seattle Metro area is extremely active with many multiple offer situations. It continues to be a seller's market with many buyers anxious to purchase. The inventory is down, and interest rates continue to be very low, which is really motivating buyer's. As we never know what the future holds if you are contemplating selling your home I would consider placing it on the market.
