Laurelhurst Unicycling Team Performing At Seattle Storm Game Tomorrow Night

The Laurelhurst Elementary School Unicyclists will be the featured pre-game performance tomorrow night at the 2012 Seattle Storm season opener against Los Angeles starting at 7pm.

The A-Team will kick off the pre-game festivities in an 8 minute performance 30 minutes prior to tip off. This is the Storm’s official season opener.

The team is led by Mr. Roberts, Laurelhurst’s PE teacher, who has been teaching for more then fifteen years. He has worked hard to build an exciting program and two years ago the school received money to replace a large fleet of unicycles that were in poor condition. In addition many students love unicyling so much that they purchase their own unicycles.  Many of the young riders practice every day during recess to improve their skills.
