A readers sent us this email:
The houses on my street had signs taped to the door Monday advertizing a service to paint numbers on curbs. Today (Tuesday) a black sports car held together with in duct tape was slowing driving on the block and around the neighborhood.
When a neighbor took a picture of the car, the car stopped and said they were painting in the neighborhood. No paint supplies in the car at all.
My suspicion is that the taped paper adds on the doors was put there to determine which families were on vacation.
