A Fun Way To Get A Free Bag Of Compost



Cedar Grove Compositing is holding a scavenger hunt, called "The Big Dig" through April 11th  The goal is to find “Corey the Compostable Apple Core," in the picture above, and you will win a free bag of compost.

Carey is hiding in nearby neighborhoods, such as Viewridge, and 30 others in Seattle. Clues are posted here.

The more Coreys you find, the better are your chances of winning a pass to the Big Dig Finals—and a chance to have a $3,000 yard makeover, as well as other prizes.

Cedar Grove is having this special event, as well as some other deals, such as buy two bags of compost and get third free, 35%  off kitchen food scrap containers and 15$ off bulk compost, to thank Seattle for turning 125,000 tons of organic waste into nutritious Cedar Grove Compost.
