Karla, with Parks and Recreation, sent us some information about 3 interesting camps happening this month, two at the Laurelhurst Community Center.
Baking Camp (ages 8-12) Laurelhurst Community Center
Learn how to make fantastic desserts with the owner of Silvana Specialty Desserts.
8/8-8/11, M-Th 3-6 p.m. $225
Park Explorers Camp (ages 4-5) Laurelhrurst Park
Join us for a fun-filled outdoor adventure at Laurelhurst Park with Magnuson’s Nature Director Emily Bishton.
8/22-8/24, M-W 2:30-5:30pm $90
USAT Junior Triathlon Camp (ages 8-12) Magnuson Community Center
Swim, bike, and run at Magnuson Park with USAT certified coach Sara Graham. Must have a bike in good working condition and be able to swim 25 yards. Bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles, water bottle and running shoes.
8/8-8/12 M-F 1:30-4 p.m. $105
