St. Stephens Church (4805 NE 45th Street) is having another Evensong this Sunday at 5pm.
This one is an Intergenerational Evensong, and all "children and parents; husbands and wives; brothers and sisters; grandparents and grandchildren; and especially our Laurelhurst friends and neighbors are invited to form a “Flash Choir” for our April 3rd Evensong!," Leslie Martin, Director Of Music, told us.
"We’ll learn some music that is accessible to all, and sing the Evensong service from the choir loft. The only musical prerequisite is a love of singing!" Les said.
Rehearsal for the "flash choir" starts at 3:30pm in the main church, followed by Evensong at 5pm. A reception will follow the service in the entryway.
"So, please bring a friend, and come as you are to get a front-row seat for Evensong, and add your voice to the chorus of children and adults," the invitation says.
