Laurelhurst Elementary School Auction Night Successful And Fun

The Laurelhurst Elementary School Auction Committee sent us an update from the Auction held last Friday night at the Mountaineers Club. They told us it was a fun evening with lively bidding.

More than 360 people attended and  and  more than 350 participated in the Online Auction making the event a big success.

"Know that you have supported programs and staff not funded or only partially funded by the district -- including art, music, tutors, librarian, science, and much more," the Committee wrote to the School body.

The auction was a Western themed event with a tag line "The Great Education Round-Up!"

Pictured above is (Lone Ranger and Native American) auctioneers Nelson Jay (school parent) and Jen Anderson (kindergarten teacher).

And below are some school parents dressed up in theme attire.
