Discounted Tickets for Camelot at Magnuson's Seattle Musical Theater


Carine, from Seattle Musical Theater at Magnuson, sent us email inviting the community to their newest production, Camelot, starting tonight.

Camelot opens the 34th season for Seattle Musical Theater, formerly Civic Light Opera.

They are the only large theatre in Seattle's Northeast neighborhood and the only one in Seattle to produce only musicals.

Camelot is the award-winning musical based on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

"The entire community of Camelot awaits the arrival of Guenevere, King Arthur of England's future Queen. Some of the enchanting musical numbers include The Simple Joys of Maidenhood, The Lusty Month of May, How to Handle a Woman, I Loved You Once in Silence, If Ever I Would Leave You and What Do the Simple Folk Do? In the end it is fourteen-year-old Tom who tells the world of Camelot's quest for right and honor and justice," the website says.

Also making its first appearance for this production is a brand new sound system, "to further enhance audience pleasure" Carine tells us.

Seattle Musical Theatre located in Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE. There is lots of free parking.

Camelot runs through October 2nd. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm. There will be one Thursday night performance on September 30th at 7:30 pm.
