The Laurelhurst Community Club is holding its monthly Board Meeting at 7pm tonight at Wu Hsing Tao School at the Talaris Campus located at 4000 NE 41st Street, Building D, Suite 1 in Laurelhurst.

Also this Wednesday, from 7-8:30pm, LCC is also holding a special Community Meeting along with Carol Eychaner, Community and Land-Use Planner, to discuss and take questions on the changes to Seattle Children's Hospital Master Plan.

There have been two major changes to the Master Plan approved by City Council as noted in LCC's recent mailing to the community.

One is the the shifting of development of the Phase 3 Bed Unit South tower to the first phase of development, which is closest to the residential community.  Under the approved plan, impacts of this phase would not have been felt for almost a decade.

And the second change is the relocation of the helipad 250 to 300 feet closer to residences.

The meeting will be held at the Laurelhurst Community Center.
