The North Precinct of the Seattle Polic Department, which serves Laurelhurst and other northeast neighborhoods, is having a picnic this Saturday from 1-4pm.
The picnic is to "to celebrate community, give you a chance to meet your local officers, and even take a precinct tour. There will be food, activities and entertainment- including many activities for children. This is an annual free event hosted by the Seattle Police Foundation," the website says.
The North Precinct is located at 10049 College Way North.
If you can't make this precinct picnic, the next one will be at the Southwest Precinct on August 21st. And others will be held at the South and West Precincts rhroughout the summer.
