Laurelhurst Unicycle and Juggling Team Performing on Saturday


Exciting news from PE Teacher Brent Roberts at Laurelhurst Elementary School.

The Laurelhurst Unicycle and Juggling Team has been asked by the Cascade Bicycle Club to perform twice at the Bike Expo this Saturday, March 13th.

The two performances will be at 11:45 and 2:15 according to the schedule. Each performance will be about 10 to 15 minutes long.

The Cascade website says about the Laurelhurst team, "Outstanding local stunt and dance team. The Laurelhurst Unicycling and Juggling team is a group of hard working 4th and 5th grade students. They practice almost every day during their recess time to learn new tricks and build skills. They are an exciting group that loves performing.

The Expo will be held at Pier 91 at the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal in Magnolia, and will feature more than 300 exhibits of bikes, gear, travel, health and fitness, will be open Saturday from 9a.m. to 6p.m. and 10a.m. to 4p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for adults are $10 for a single-day pass and $12 for a two-day pass. Kids 15 and under are free. Click here for a discount coupon.
