Seattle Police Department Online Crime Reporting
During these times of social distancing, we would like to remind community members that the Seattle Police Department has an online reporting option for some crimes. Please keep in mind the importance of reporting all crime, as this helps to create statistics and data, and data helps drive enforcement and resources.
Crimes that can be filed online usually do not require an in-person police response and should meet the following criteria:
- This is not an emergency situation
- The incident occurred within Seattle city limits
- There are no known suspects or information about the crime that can be followed up on
