The Seattle Department of Transportation is looking for 8 to 10 people to participate in a focus group about walking around the City, which is part of a year-long project to design better walking directions and information to encourage locals and visitors to walk more.
The information says:
The focus group will be on October 10th for two hours at the Central Library (1000 4th Avenue). Two times are available, 2pm-4pm or 5:30-7:30. Refreshments will be provided. Participants will be acknowledged for their time with a $60 Safeway gift card.
If you are interested in volunteering for a focus group, please email wayfinding@seattle.gov by tomorrow, and include your availability for afternoon or evening session.
Also include something about yourself, including the neighborhood in which you live or work and the reasons why you walk.
The focus groups will provide the City with critical early input from those who have first-hand knowledge of wayfinding challenges in Seattle.
