NEST Holding Interesting Free Lecture Today At Magnuson

North East Seattle Together

Today from 2-3pm, NEST (Northeast Seattle Together) is having a free lecture with Peggy Burns, Seattle local and walker, who will be talking about her adventures and what adventures residents can experience in their own neighborhoods.

"This is your opportunity to share with her what she might have missed in your neighborhood, and learn what wonders are right around you and within walking distance!" the information says.

The event will take place in the lower Conference Room of Hangar 30, across the street from the Magnuson Park Brig (6310 NE 74th Street).

NEST is a non-profit grassroots operation serving NE Seattle seniors by creating a "virtual village" to helping them be able to stay in their own homes and neighborhoods they love.

Volunteers provide companionship, care, as well as help seniors with a wide range of services, including gardening, computer help and more. to seniors aging in their homes.

Ongoing classes (fitness, etc) are also offered, as well as access to events, transportation services, and various services (such as estate planners) who provide their services at a discount to members.

For more information contact NEST at (206) 525-6378 or email info@nestseattle.org.
