Free Summer Family Concert Series Starts Tomorrow At Magnuson

The free family summer concert series at Magnuson starts tomorrow, running Fridays through August 1, at the Magnuson Park Amphitheater (6344 NE 74th Street) at 7pm.

Chamber Orchestra Concert at St. Stephens This Sunday

Lynne from Philharmonia Northwest, a chamber orchestra, sent us email wanting the neighborhood to know about their upcoming concert this Sunday, Febrary, 7th at 2:30pm at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.

The orchestra, according to the website, was founded in 1976, and performs "standard and non-standard repertoire for chamber orchestra, filling an unoccupied niche in the Seattle musical scene."

They perform only five times a year at St Stephen's Episcopal Church. This is the third concert in the series and features R. Vaughan-Williams with an English Folk Song Suite; L. Gróndahl
with a Concerto for Trombone and A. Dvořák with Symphony No. 9.
