The Laurelhurst Annual Salmon Bake and Kids Carnival is happening on Thursday from 5:30-8pm with music by Mariachi Fiesta Mexicana.
Menu for the dinner includes grilled wild salmon, pulled chipotle chicken sandwiches, corn, watermelon, tangy coleslaw, fresh rolls and chocolate brownies.
The salmon dinner is market price, the chicken sandwich dinner is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and younger and the hot dog or garden burger dinner is $8.
The Laurelhurst Community Center, Lifelong Recreation and Specialized Programs, the Associated Recreation Council and several local businesses have partnered for this year's event, including Melissa Maxwell with Eat Well Seattle, Metropolitan Market and Era Living.
