If you've lived in Seattle for awhile, you're probably familiar with the pricier neighborhoods in the city. Broadmoor, Madrona and Blue Ridge probably come to mind, but so too should Laurelhurst. This neighborhood is tucked in northeast Seattle, occupying prime space along Lake Washington and Union Bay.

Not surprisingly, many homes in the area offer sweeping views of the lake and the Cascades, and they aren't too far from downtown, either. If you needed more proof of Laurelhurst's luxury real estate cred, the neighborhood is also the location of the most expensive piece of Seattle real estate on the market -- a $13.25 million home on the shores of Lake Washington.

These homes aren't quite that expensive, but they're pretty standard for Laurelhurst. The median sale price for a home in the area is $1.25 million, according to the last 90 days of home sales data from Redfin.

The homes in the gallery above range from $750,000 (what a steal!) to $2.749 million. Scroll through to take a tour inside them.
