Union Bay Bird Walk Tomorrow With Audubon Society

The Seattle Audubon Society is holding a "Bird Walk and Optics Demo" on Sunday starting at 9am.

The information says:

Leader: Nikon’s Mike Freiberg
9am: Meet at the Seattle Audubon Nature Shop
10am: Bird Walk at Union Bay Natural Area (near the UW)
1pm: Return to The Nature Shop

Start with a pre-walk equipment check and optics primer at the
Seattle Audubon Nature Shop. Then join fellow birding enthusiasts
for a bird walk at the Union Bay Natural Area. We'll focus on
migration while sifting through the four miles of coast for
shorebirds, scanning the wetlands for waterfowl, and
looking for migratory passerines in the wooded areas.

Union Bay has proven to be one of the more productive

birding sites in the Seattle area. Following the bird walk,
the group will return to The Nature Shop for optics specials
and refreshments. Join the group for all or part of the day.
Mike Freiberg, formerly Nikon's Birding Market Specialist,
will help guide the walk while providing loaner Nikon
equipment for those who would like to try something new.

Call The Nature Shop to register at 206-523-4483.
