Fun Events At NE Branch Library This Week

The Northeast Branch (6801 35th Avenue NE) of the Seattle Public Library is having some interesting events this week:

Minecraft Build Challenge Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, 2 – 4 p.m.
Minecraft Build Challenge
Jump into a virtual world and rapidly build Minecraft challenges as a team! For ages 7-12.


Chess Club Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Chess Club
Come play a game of chess! Children, teens and adults - people of all ages are invited to drop by for fun and casual games of chess. Chess puzzles and basic chess instruction also available.  All skill levels are welcome. Chess sets and guidance by an adult chess coach will be available.


Scavenger Hunt Bingo! Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, 2 – 4 p.m.
Scavenger Hunt Bingo!
Learn more about our community through a scavenger hunt for children, teens and adults.  Each person will be given a bingo card and let loose on the Wedgwood neighborhood. Figure out all the clues and be the first one back for a chance at fun prizes.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult and each player must have a digital camera of some type to participate (could be a cell phone or a camera with a digital display).
