Tree Pruning Class Saturday At Center For Urban Horticulture

UW Botanic Gardens’ Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) is having a class called "Learn to Prune Trees the Right Way" on Saturday from 1-4pm.

The information says:
Pruning trees to build strong structure and form is crucial to growing a healthy, mature tree and avoiding damaging, dangerous, and unsightly limb loss in the future. Join us to learn what simple, easy stems you can take now to prevent costly pruning needs in the future, and how to make pruning cuts that cause minimal injury to the tree.
This is a 3-hour class on pruning young, deciduous, non-fruit trees for homeowners who have planted trees in their yard or planting strips in the last couple of years.

The cost: $30 after March 7th. Register Online or by phone at 206-685-8033.
