Local Birdist Connie Sidles Speaking On "Avian Love" At NEST Meeting Monday

UW Botanic Gardens: Avian Love with Connie Sidles

NEST (Northeast Seattle Together) (5751 33rd Avenue NE)  which supports Northeast Seattle elder neighbors through a network of volunteers and vendors, is continuing its  NESTCafé series on Monday at 2pm at Magnuson with speaker, Connie Sidles.

Connie Sidles, is a local birding expert who maintains a blog documenting the many types of birds, including beautiful pictures, at the nearby Union Bay Natural Area, also known as the Montlake Fill. 

She is also the author of Fill of Joy and Tales from the Montlake Fill.  Connie is  a master birder and long-time member of Seattle Audubon Society.

Come meet and hear Connie talk about Avian Love.  Learn how birds are specialized to attract a mate, build a nest, and raise their babies and increase your understanding of the challenges that birds face to perpetuate their species.
