Overall October 2014 outperformed over October 2013:
10/13 2 new listings and 3 sold properties with 52 average DOM (days on market) and an average price of $900k.
10/14 5 new listings and 7 sold properties (over 100% increase from last year) with 47 average DOM and average price of $989,000 for a 9% increase over last October.

Tip of the month:
Even though prices increased sharply in many markets over the past year, especially in Seattle, low mortgage rates have kept homeownership less expensive than renting. In fact a national real estate consortium stated that home ownership is 38% less expensive than renting!
