Audubon Starting High School BirdWatch Program For Students

BirdWatch

Seattle Audubon’s BirdWatch program, starts its 18th year, bringing together high school students from all over the Puget Sound region to participate in birding trips, scientific research, and conservation projects.

Students also learn from environmental professionals, develop leadership skills, and meet other interested bird watching friends.

The first meeting is tonight and here is information:
BirdWatch meets monthly in Seattle. Participants also have the option of participating in monthly birding field trips and service-learning projects.
All activities are conducted in a fun, supportive environment, and we welcome students of all backgrounds and experience levels.
We are actively recruiting high school participants, as well as enthusiastic adult volunteers to assist with meetings, field trips, and planning.
