Popular City-Wide Chicken Coop And Urban Farm Tour Tomorrow

Coop

Seattle Tilth is hosting its annual popular "Chicken Coop & Urban Farm Tour " tomorrow from 10-4pm at twenty-five locations throughout Seattle.

The information says:
This is your  chance to visit folks who are keeping chickens and creating "urban farms" in the Seattle area. Glean great ideas from creative neighbors who are incorporating animals and unique gardens into their home landscapes. Visit the
event page for the full scoop.
In this self-guided tour, you will see simple chicken coops built in one afternoon and elaborate finely-crafted coops that took weeks of planning and building. See what accommodations are needed for keeping miniature goats, ducks, mason bees, honey bees and bunnies. Take a look at how people live together with these animals in an urban environment. Enjoy a unique and inspiring urban adventure!
Seattle Tilth has been hosting this event, or a version of it, since the 90s. This year, a panel of local experts has selected Seattle's best 25 urban farms -- prizes will be awarded and tourists will be able to choose the winner of the  "People's Choice" award.
