Pruning Class Tomorrow At Center For Urban Horticulture

The Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) is having a class tomorrow from 8-3pm called  ProHort: Pruning for Restoration Sites, Natural Areas, and Trailsides.

The information says:
This training combines classroom and field instruction to explain how to manage and prune native vegetation planted adjacent to trails, drives, and streets for optimal environmental functions, appearance, safety, and visibility.  
Learn how to prune to reduce long-term labor needs and to lengthen the time between pruning cycles. We will cover key types of native plants commonly used and best management practices for their pruning.  
We will also discuss common pruning techniques that are ineffective and why, and demonstrate the best pruning techniques for the most effective results.
