commuters shocked after shuttle was hit
Yesterday around 5pm, the Laurelhurst route of Microsoft's Connector Bus, was hit by a golf ball while passing the UW golf range.
"We were shocked and scared when we heard a very loud bang on the window," Tim, one of the riders, and a Laurelhurst resident, told us.
He added that the ball completely shattered the window and shards fell onto the person sitting at that window. The commuter was not heard.
"We were all very shaken up when it happened and as the driver had to continue driving to let us off at our stop. We pass by their every day but never thought we'd get hit," Tim said.
