Miller Library at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street) is holding its monthly children's storytime tomorrow from 10:30-11:15am.
Growing your own vegetables is fun. These stories prove that you can learn a lot about science while you learn to garden, and have a great time in the process. After the stories, color a vegetable picture in the program room.
Books to be read are:
FIRST PEAS TO THE TABLE by Susan Grigsby
MOUSE & MOLE AND THE YEAR-ROUND GARDEN by Doug Cushman
SYLVIA'S SPINACH by Katherine Pryor

The monthly storytimes "celebrate
gardens, plants, and nature" for children ages 3 to 8 and their families. All
ages are welcome.
