Doll Clothing Design Camp And Tea Party On Monday At Park

Tea Party with girls and their dolls
Ming-Ming Tung-Edelman, a Laurelhurst Elementary mother, and kids and doll clothing designer, is holding a special mini summer camp on Monday from 10:30-12:30 for kids 4-12 years old to design their own outfit for an 18" doll.

Ming-Ming designs her own line of children's apparel, doll apparel and a match-with-me doll clothing line, called Totally Me Artful Wear by MiMi Bug. The clothes have interchangeable ribbons and buttons for outfits and  Ming-Ming says that "kids love the endless fun ways to create unique looks with the ready-to-wear ribbons, buttons, skirts and tops."

The kids will be able to choose from 3 options of Mimi Bug Artfulwear, designing their own girl shirt and headband, doll top and skirt or girl skirtl Included in the morning will be other activities, snack and tea for the girls and dolls.

The camp will be held in the Laurelhurst Park at the picnic table near the crossing bridge to Laurelhurst Elementary.

The fee is $28.  Go here for more information and to register or email Ming-Ming at littlebugmte@hotmail.com.

"Children will have fun creating infinite combinations of wearable art" Ming-Ming told us.
