Fashion Camp For 8-12 Year Olds Next Week At The Community Center

Fashion Camp starts next week at the Laurelhurst Community Center from 1-4 pm for 8-12 year olds taught by Katrina Strand. 

The class description says:

Create your own fashion brand! Explore how fashion designers find inspiration and learn about various areas of the industry, including merchandising, retailing, and designing. Participants will take home the skills, inspiration, and motivation to pursue their dreams and make a name for themselves in the fashion industry. We will be designing a t-shirts and a bag, including dying and printing fabric.

Please dress for mess. Please have the students bring the following to camp each day: Snack and water Optional: Sewing machine, sewing scissors, old and new fashion magazines that can be cut up

The cost is $195.
