Family Offering Free Library Located In Their Yard To the Neighborhood



The Moody family on 47th Avenue NE is offering a "Free Library" to the neighborhood.

Here is the information they sent to us:

We are very excited about our new 'Little Free Library' installed in our front yard at the bottom of our driveway at 3808 - 47th Ave NE.

Please come by and check out a book by whenever you would like.  The library is always open.  There is a comment book inside, for suggestions, comments or greetings!

Erin told us that the library will be open as long as people are using it.  The family has had a few people stop by to check out  books and she wants to spread the word so that people know it's availalble.

Erin, the mom, told us that they got the idea from her four kids seeing a few libraries around town, and thought it would be fun to do their own.

The Moody farmily was also inspired to offer a free library through the Little Free Library movement whose mission is to "promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide."
