Car Break-In On 4300 Block Of NE 45th Street

Here is a neighbor's email on a recent car prowl:

Our car was robbed on Friday night/ Saturday morning, July 25th. Unfortunately, despite all the warnings from the Blog), we left the car doors unlocked overnight and left a bag in the car.

We lost my daughters old style flip phone and charger and about $30, a pair of sunglasses, plus the bag.

The car was parked in our driveway. It’s upsetting how the Laurelhurst area has become such a magnet for car prowls and home robberies.

It would be great if someone found my daughters purse/bag. It is small-ish and purple. I walked about three blocks in each direction on both sides of NE 45^th Street, hoping they just took the cash and phone and tossed the purse, with no luck.
