Le Petit Shoppe Grand Re-Opening As Kookaburra Kids

Rhea, the new owner of Le Petit Shoppe, (3432 NE 45th Street) has been busy transforming the store into Kookaburra Kids. She will be having a celebration on Sunday from 2-6pm, with special guests Recess Monkey, performing from 5:15-6pm, as well as Jami, making balloon creations from 3-5pm.

The Facebook invitation says:

It's been just over a month of running the cute little Le Petit Shoppe and what a whirlwind of a good time it's been! I've had a chance to meet many of the loyal customers and neighbors and couldn't be more tickled to have kept this little treasure trove alive!

As many of you know, I'm changing the name to Kookaburra Kids as well as giving it a new look and feel. But don't worry, I plan to keep the same model of purchasing gently worn children's items that are considered "high-end" labels, but will of...fer trade incentives! I also plan to add new items for gift giving occasions such as baby showers and new baby arrival, as well as eco-friendly toys and clothing.

So, come say hi, tour the new shop and bring the kiddos! We'll have food, entertainment and prizes!  This is going to be one fun party!! Hope to see you there!

Rhea told us that she's been a "very busy bird, painting, re-arranging, de-cluttering. I'd say the shop looks completely different! I'm also ordering new gifts for moms and kids. Items are trickling in every day! Come and visit!"
