The Laurelhurst Community
Center is offering a "First Strike Self Defense" class for women on Saturday from 9am - noon taught by Michael Castilleja.
The
information says that the class, which will speciailze in self defense and situational awareness, teaches practical and pure self-defense skills that can be easily learned and
applied.
Michael has had
experience in many contact sports, including wrestling. He also was in the U.S.
Marine Corps, and served at a county jail in the capacity of Sergeant in charge
of training and investigations.
The S.A.F.E. instruction includes:

· Physical control
· Situational Awareness
· Hands on training
· Self Confidence

Class fee is $30. To register call 206-684-7529 or register in person at the Community Center. The clalss will be offered again on April 27th.
