Northwest Horticultural Society's Spring Plant Sale On Saturday At Center For Urban Horticulture



The Northwest Horticultural Society is having its Spring Plant Sale Saturday from 9-3pm at the Center for Urban Horticulture (3501 NE 41st Street). 

Some of the events will be:
  • Plantsman Dan Hinkley, will give two lectures at 10am (Foliage First—Building the Foundation of Your Year-Round Garden) and 1pm (The Moment at Windcliff—Winter Gives Way to Early Spring) $5 each
  • Variety of workshops addressing specific gardening issues
  • Rooms full of plants from outstanding specialty plant nurseries
  • Specialty nurseries offering beautiful plants
  • A large horticultural display spotlighting those plants which are striking in the late winter landscape
  • The library will be open to find special books or answer any gardening questions you might bring.
The Plant Sale, hosted by the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, will benefit the Elisabeth C. Miller Library located at the Center.
