Bid Today On Numerous Auction Items Benefitting Laurelhurst Elementary School Programs

 





Laurelhurst Elementary's annual on-line auction has opened for bidding and goes through March 14th. It is open to all friends, neighbors and family. One-hundred percent of auction proceeds are reinvested back into the school to support the students.


This is largest fundraiser of the year put on by the PTA and one of the coordinators told us that "the money earned is used to provide the students at our neighborhood public school with both critical staffing and exciting enrichment programs that make our school great."
 
 
"The Laurelhurst PTA financially supports many programs that would not be provided at our school otherwise including an Art Program, Full Day Instrumental Music, Vocal/General Music, and even basics for classroom supplies, library books and technology support,the PTA Auction Coordinator told us.
 
Over 300 items are available to bid on, many donated from local, neighborhood businesses in the eBay style online auction .
 
Some of the many, many items available are:
  • Gift certificates for neighborhood restaurants: Elementail, Mama Melina, Jamba Juice, Gretchen’s, Burgermaster, Delfino, Element, The Veggie Grill, Pair, Dick's, Pair, Sonrisaw and many more.
  • Summer sports camps: LBC Sailing Camp, Little Dribblers, Baseball Positive, Seattle United, and more.
  • Gift certificates to local retailers: Madewell U. Village, Something Silver, Gene Juarez, Storables, Pottery Barn, University Bookstore and many more.
  • Overnight stay at Salish, Alderbrook, Ocean Shores, Inn at Cannon Beach and others.
  • Trip to Cabo San Lucas or Glacier Washington
  • Children's Art Classes At Thrive Art School
  • Aikido Classes at Seattle School of Aikido
  • Salon and Spa services

"So, neighbors and community members check out the online auction items available. We are sure there is something for everyone!" the Auction Coordinator said.
