Seattle nonprofit, Teens in Public Service (TIPS), which serves to connect high school students "with meaningful, paid summer work at local nonprofit organizations." is accepting applications through today.
Applicants must be leaders in their high schools and be committed to becoming a part of their community through service and volunteering.
TIPS internships:
- gives teenagers a chance to address issues and needs in the community.
- provides leadership opportunities that build upon the activities many students participate in throughout the school year.
- gives students who enjoyed their community service requirement during the school year a chance to continue their service work and further their leadership potential while earning a paycheck during the summer.
Application and two letters of recommendations must be submitted.
