Epic Barber Shop
From 11-3pm on Monday, Epic Barber (3517 NE 45th Street), a full-family barber shop, is holding its 3rd annual Cuts for a Cure and all proceeds with be going to Autism Speaks.
The owners wrote to us:
Autism is the fastest growing developmental disorder in the United States. Every 11 minutes a family gets a diagnosis of autism. 1 in 88 children is on the autsm spectrum. Less than 1% of government research funding goes to autism.
We would like to invite the community to come support a cause that is not only a growing concern but one that is dear to our hearts as a member of our family is autistic.
Epic Salon will be accepting donations with or without a haircut.
